Monday: "Huh. Well that's strange. Your Visa runs out in 25 days. That means you'll probably have to leave the country for a bit. But they might not let you back in." That might pose some potential problems, indeed.
Tuesday: I have a little bit of an invincibility complex. Why would someone want to hurt me, I'm just a harmless white girl? Reality check. Why wouldn't someone want to hurt me, I'm just a harmless white girl. I was mugged. Not so invincible. Not so fearless.
Wednesday: Woke up in the middle of the night, and proceeded to hurl up the contents of my intestines. Oh look, last night's dinner. Good thing it was only a 24-hour virus.
Thursday: Just kidding. Not a 24-hour virus. Intestinal cleansing, Part Dos. Hands-on education of South American illnesses.
Friday: This is going to be a good day. Bring it, Bolivia. ...Pop. Oh dear. That's not where my ankle is supposed to be, is it. At least the also-crippled dog and I will have plenty of bonding time as I spend the next month in a cast.
"...He said, 'My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.' So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. That's why I take pleasure in my weaknesses...for when I am weak, then I am strong." 2 Corinthians 12 : 9-10
I have been blessed.
